APPOINTMENT OF NODAL OFFICER FOR PROCESSING CLAIMS FOR IEPF
The Chairperson circulated the advertisement appeared in today's Newspaper of times of India Mumbai Edition
wherein the Government of India, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority
have informed the general public that with effect from 07.09.2016, all those investors/ depositors whose
unpaid dividends, matured deposits or debentures interest etc. which were transferred to Investor Education and
Protection Fund (IEPF) under the Companies Act 1956/2013 can now claim refund of their amount transferred to
IEPF from the fund authority under Section 125 of the Companies Act, 2013. The investors/depositors can claimed
their unclaimed dividend/matured deposits/debenture interest after following the procedure as laid down in
form IEPF 5 which can be downloaded from the website of fund namely www.iepf.gov.in.
He further informed that every company who have transferred the amount to the fund also have to appoint
one Nodal officer for the purpose of processing the claims of IEPF transferred and informed the name of
the Nodal Officer to the IEPF authority within 7 days of the advertisement by an email, the name, e mail
and contact number of the Nodal Officer. According the Board of Directors have decided to appoint
Mr. R.N.Shenvi a Chief Financial Officer of the company as the Nodal officer (IEPF) of the Company.
The following resolution was then passed.
"RESOLVED THAT Mr. R.N.Shenvi, a Chief Financial Officer of the company be and he is hereby appointed
as the Nodal Officer authorized to deal with the IEPF claims cases of the Company and also he be and
is hereby authorized to process and verify the claims/ refund forms of the investors within 15 days of
the receipt of the claim and be sending and coordinating these to IEPF Authority.
